"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here." The print is printed on 100lbs card stock. It measures 14 inches wide by 11 inches tall so it will fit a standard size frame. It is signed by the artist Kevin Eslinger. It ships flat on sturdy cardboard in a bubble wrapped envelope. Artist Kevin Eslinger says, "This version of the Cheshire Cat reminds me of my own cat. He past away in 2007, died in my arms. The little guy was a British Blue and was with me for many years. Cats all have different personalities but some parts of their personalities are true to all cats. When a cat has something on his mind and is ready to pounce there is a common expression. I wanted to capture that moment when a cat locks its eyes on something but right before a cat's pupils fill. I think this is the very essence of the Cheshire Cat. The painting is the most popular of all my Alice in Wonderland Series to date. Even though I could spend the next 42 years painting Alice characters I think it will still remain among the most popular."
